45 Years Ago - 1978 The FM Soundtrack was released.

The album featured many hits from the 70s.

The theme song "FM (No Static at All)" by Steely Dan and peaked at #22.

Also of note, Linda Ronstadt covered The Rolling Stone's "Tumbling Dice" for Simple Dreams, and she performed the song in the movie with the live version appearing on the soundtrack. It' peaked at #32 #30 AC.
