35 Years Ago - 1991 Roxette released their third album Joyride. "Joyride" was a #1 Smash! "Fading Like a Flower (Every Time You Leave)" peaked at #2 and was their fifth consecutive top-10 single in the US. It also made #5 AC. "Spending My Time" made #32 and #20 AC. "Church of Your Heart" made #36 and #24 AC.

45 Years Ago - 1981 Jimmy Buffett released his tenth album Coconut Telegraph. "It's My Job" made #57, #32 AC, and #51 Mainstream Rock. "Stars Fell on Alabama" didn't chart but I'm a big fan.

35 Years Ago - 1991 Sting released his third album The Soul Cages. The album is a concept album focused on the death of his father. "All This Time" peaked at #5, #9 AC, #1 Alternative Airplay and Mainstream Rock. "The Soul Cages" made #7 Mainstream Rock and won a Best Rock Song Grammy Award.
