1978 - Energy - The Pointer Sisters

45 Years Ago - 1978 The Pointer Sisters released their fifth album Energy.

This was the first album after Bonnie left and also their first for Planet Records produced by Richard Perry.

The album featured two singles, the first "Fire" a Bruce Springsteen cover that was a smash. It made #2 (#14 R&B, #21 AC.)

"Happiness" followed and made #30 but was a bigger club hit at #18 and an R&B #20.
