1977 - The Album - ABBA

45 Years Ago - 1977 ABBA released their fifth album The Album.

The album was released in conjunction with ABBA: The Movie, with several of the songs featured in the film.

The first single was "The Name of the Game" which made #12 on the Hot 100 (#9 AC.)

"Take a Chance on Me" was the next single peaking at #3 (#9 AC.) "Eagle"/"Thank You for the Music"

A third single was released overseas, it was a double-sided hit "Eagle/Thank You for the Music."
