1977 - Chic - Chic

45 Years Ago - 1977 Chic released their self-titled debut album. Led by Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers the album produced two singles. "Dance, Dance, Dance (Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah)" hit #6 on both the Hot 100 and the R&B chart and #1 on the Club chart.

"Everybody Dance" charted #38 Hot 100, #12 R&B and #1 Club.

Interesting to note that Luther Vandross lent some vocals to the album.
