50 Years Ago - 1973 The Rolling Stones released their thirteenth American album
The album title was Inspired by their Jamaican surroundings, which is meant to evoke the atmosphere of Jamaican Obeah Voodoo.
It featured one of their biggest hits, the #1 "Angie." (#38 AC)
There was speculation that the song was about David Bowie's first wife Angela, Keith Richards' newborn daughter Dandelion Angela,] the actress Angie Dickinson, and others. (or just random.)
The next single "Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)" peaked at #15.
