In 1973 the title track from the album became a #1 smash (#2 R&B and AC)

Followed by "Jesse" (#30, #19 R&B, #3 AC)

The 1978 album had three singles,

"If Ever I See You Again" was written for the film of the same name. It was a #24 Hot 100 song (#37 R&B #1 AC)

"When It's Over" peaked at #82 on the R&B chart.

"You Are Everything" only made #98 on the R&B chart.
