1971 Diana Ross released her third album Surrender. The singles were "Remember Me" (#16 #10 R&B/Soul), "Reach Out, I'll Be There" (#29 #17 Soul Singles), "Surrender" (#38 #16 R&B). Much of the album was written by Ashford and Simpson.
