Back on the road after a three-year break following his record-breaking The Divide Tour, Ed Sheeran tops the year-end Top Ticket Sales chart after playing to more than 3 million fans in Europe in 2022.

This is not the first time that Ed Sheeran has won a year-end Boxscore trophy. The Divide Tour made him the first artist to repeat atop Billboard’s annual Top Tours ranking, winning the gold in 2018 and 2019.

Last night on NBC News it was revealed that Volodymyr Zelensky & The Spirit of Ukraine are Time's person of the year.

“Whether the battle for Ukraine fills one with hope or with fear, Volodymyr Zelensky galvanized the world in a way we haven’t seen in decades,” Edward Felsenthal, editor-in-chief of TIME explained Wednesday.

Felsenthal said, “the spirit of Ukraine was embodied by countless individuals inside and outside the country.”

“For proving that courage can be as contagious as fear, for stirring people and nations to come together in defense of freedom, for reminding the world of the fragility of democracy – and of peace – Volodymyr Zelensky and the spirit of Ukraine are TIME’s 2022 Person of the Year,” Felsenthal said.

This coming Monday watch for David Letterman's "My Next Guest.." interview with Volodymyr Zelensky on Netflix.

Netflix continues to draw eyes on its platform despite the growing competition in the space. The streaming giant revealed that Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story crossed the one billion viewing hours threshold in just 60 days. It's the third series in the platform's history to accomplish such a feat. Its other two series to pass that mark were Squid Game and Stranger Things 4. The true crime drama about the notorious serial killer stayed on Netflix's global top 10 for seven weeks in 92 countries and became the platform's second-most popular English-language show. The success it garnered cleared the path for Netflix to order two more installments of the series, which will focus on other "other monstrous figures."

The internet has spoken and with 93% of the votes, the Oxford English Dictionary has declared "Goblin Mode" to be the word of the year (although it's actually two words). Why? We don't know. But we can tell you the term popular among techies means "a type of behavior which is unapologetically self-indulgent, lazy, slovenly, or greedy, typically in a way that rejects social norms or expectations.”

Today sees the release of Netflix's new six part docu-series on The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Harry and Megan have been kind of quiet on the contents of the series which dropped the first three episodes today, and another three next week.

BUT....depending on how what it contains King Charles could strip Meghan Markle and Prince Harry of their princely titles if they continue to make incendiary allegations against the royal family. The monarch is understood to have the power to stop Harry from using the title “prince,” meaning Meghan would also lose her status as a princess, even though she rarely uses it.

Rover.com just released the results of its data on the most popular dog and cat names of 2022. And they aren't surprising.

Here's the Top Five for each . . .

Female dogs: Luna . . . Bella . . . Daisy . . . Lucy . . . Lily

Male dogs: Max . . . Charlie . . . Cooper . . . Milo . . . Buddy

Female cats: Luna . . . Lily . . . Bella . . . Lucy . . . Nala

Male cats: Oliver . . . Milo . . . Leo . . . Charlie . . . Max

Some people did get creative though. And for inspiration, they looked to TV shows like "Yellowstone" and "Euphoria" . . . movies like "Encanto" . . . and other random stuff, including some throwbacks.

For example, "Adam Sandler" is hot again . . . as a pet name. As is "Happy Gilmore." "Cruise" is also trending up, along with other "Top Gun"-inspired names like Goose, Maverick, and Cyclone.

Some "Jeopardy" super-fans have paid tribute to the late Alex Trebek by naming their cats after him.

Fast food is also an inspiration. The dog names Taco Bella, Spicy Nugget, McGriddle, and Crunchwrap debuted for the first time in 2022.

Other hot names for dogs include: Fezco . . . Mommy . . . and Beige.

And for cats: Hella . . . Crescent . . . Haiku . . . and Hocus Pocus.

And in the U.K., the trendiest dog name right now is . . . Mike.
