Did you have a stressful week???
Here are five ways to unwind now that it's the weekend . . .
1. Unplug. Just signing off social media or turning off your phone for a few hours can help. And definitely don't check work emails. (you've consumed too much of it this week i'm sure.)
2. Listen to music. Research shows that listening to music can help slow your heart rate and lower blood pressure. Doesn't matter what - just something you like.
3. Get outside. Take a walk or go for a bike ride this weekend. Or even just drive around with the windows down so you can feel the wind on your face.
4. Do something creative. Write in a journal, draw a picture, take some photos, or decorate a room in your house for the holidays. Letting your mind get some creative energy out can be therapeutic and rejuvenating.
5. Snuggle your pet. It's been shown to help relieve anxiety and depression. And hopefully your pet will enjoy it too.

Raygun, the Australian breakdancer who received ongoing backlash for her performance in the Paris Olympics, said she is retiring from competing.
Raygun, whose real name is Rachael Gunn, said on Australian radio earlier this week that she does not want to endure the criticism that would come with future performances possibly being recorded and posted online.
“It’s just not gonna mean the same thing,” she said. “It’s not going to be the same experience because of everything that’s at stake.”
She said she is working on other projects that “encourage people to dance and have fun and be creative and be themselves.”

Have you ever done a home remodeling project and found something cool or weird? We pulled up carpet and found papers underneath from 1972 once.
Connor and Brianne are a couple up in British Columbia, Canada. They were taking down some drywall in their home recently, and made an odd discovery: At one point, the insulation stopped, and there was a random stuffed animal.
They pulled more drywall . . . and then more . . . and the stuffed animal "insulation" kept continuing. In the end, they pulled 110 PLUSH ANIMALS out of the walls . . . and put them on a table.
They started giving them away to people all across the world who commented on them from the TikTok video they made. Most of them were in great condition.
The couple doesn't know who had the home before, so it's unclear what the purpose of the stuffed animals was. It's possible that someone just had a bunch of stuffed animals they didn't need anymore, and just decided to use them as insulation to "recycle" them . . . but that is a weird thing to do.

A new poll by Hankook tires found more Americans are raging behind the wheel than when the same survey was done a decade ago.
26% admit they occasionally lose their temper while driving, up from 23% in 2014.
We're also less likely to describe ourselves as "thoughtful, responsible, and obedient" drivers. Only 57% agree with that statement, down from 65% a decade ago.
(from my perspective, none of you are..you're all jerks)
The poll found the #1 thing that causes road rage is when other people drive like morons. Sitting in heavy traffic is #2.

This might keep you up at night......
A poll asked people, What would be worse to find under your bed: A DEAD person or a living person?
The poll was almost deadlocked, with 49% saying a person who's ALIVE would be worse, and 51% saying a person who's DEAD.
Someone said they'd rather the person be alive, so they could CHOOSE to kill them if needed. But are you sure you could do that quick enough? Or get out?
Someone else said a dead person may be more gross than scary . . . until you consider that an alive person had to put the dead person there . . . and they may still be hanging around.
Also: Would you proactively try to hide the dead body on your own somehow . . . or do you think you'd be able to explain this away to the police(I don't need to worry about either since the monsters under the bed take up all the space..Keep those hands and feet under the covers and on the bed!!!)

Elwood Edwards passed away on Tuesday after a long illness. He was just one day shy of his 75th birthday.
You may not know his name, but you know his work. He was AOL's "You've Got Mail" guy.
Elwood was paid $200 back in 1989 to record four lines: "Welcome", "You've Got Mail", "Files Done", and "Goodbye".
Elwood worked for many years as a graphics and camera operator at the local Cleveland TV station WKYC. He was also seen in 2016 working as an Uber driver.

A new "Star Wars" trilogy is in the works, but this one will NOT be a continuation of the "Skywalker Saga" told in episodes 1 through 9.
(You mean 4to6-1to3-7to9)
The trilogy will focus on a new story and new characters, but there's no word when it takes place, or if any pre-existing characters will appear.
Several other "Star Wars" movies are in development. This new trilogy is being developed by Simon Kinberg one of the creative minds behind several of the "X-Men" movies.

A construction worker in Vancouver bought a scratch-off lottery ticket for a game called Concert of a Lifetime, and will now get to take his whole family to see Taylor Swift. The grand prize was a VIP suite for 14 people at one of her shows next month. He also won $25,000.
He's bringing his immediate family and a few close friends, and would have had no problem filling all 14 spots. But he said he's setting aside four of them, and giving them to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Congratulations to Bernard Snyder and Jo Cartwright, who just got married in Austin last week. It's in the news, because they're both in their late 90s. Jo is 96, and Bernard is 98.
He says he got up the nerve to ask her on a date a while back. Then they started having dinner together at their retirement home. Both are widowed and say they never expected to get married again. They just fell in love.
The wedding was last Friday in their retirement home's courtyard. Their kids got together to plan the whole thing.
