Are you brushing your teeth wrong? Turns out a lot of us are. Someone asked dentists to weigh in. Here are a few of the top brushing mistakes they see all the time.

1. Brushing too hard. It's bad for your gums, and probably isn't helping your teeth either. The tips of the bristles do the cleaning, but brushing hard makes them splay out. That applies to electric toothbrushes too.

2. Rinsing right after you brush. It washes away the fluoride in the toothpaste, so wait at least two minutes before you swish. Or really, you should be brushing last. The best order to do it all in is floss, swish, then brush.

3. Using the same toothbrush too long. Replace it every three months, and not just because the bristles wear out. Bacteria builds up, so that's another reason.

4. Brushing right after eating or drinking stuff that's sugary or acidic. That includes coffee. It can damage your enamel, so wait at least 30 minutes. Of if you're leaving for work and HAVE to brush, rinse with water first.

5. Brushing with baking soda or charcoal. It might help short-term, but they're too abrasive. So long-term, it can actually damage your enamel.

Today, we have three stories about stupid criminals who tried to hide contraband in "creative" hiding places. Which one do you think is the best?

1. A man in Texas was pulled over and when the police searched his car, they found two kilograms of cocaine hidden in a box of Frosted Flakes. He also had $10,000 in cash stashed inside a headphone box.

2. A police officer in the U.K. saw two males acting suspiciously in a park when it looked like they were hiding something in a tree stump. They ran off, but the cop dug into the tree stump and found 121 mini-packages of cocaine. The cops are still trying to find all the "rightful owners."

3. Police in California pulled over a car after seeing it driving around without headlights. They searched the car, and found a car-load of drugs, including meth, coke, Xanax, and fentanyl plus a loaded gun, which was hidden in a PIZZA BOX on top of a full, uneaten pie.

A new poll of 2,000 Americans found two-thirds of us won't go to the doctor until something feels "EXTREMELY wrong." Until then, we'll wait it out. That includes 59% of women and 72% of men.

One reason we don't go is it seems like you never know how much you'll end up paying, even with insurance. But money isn't the only reason we avoid doctors.

The top things we hate about doctor's visits include sitting in the waiting room . . . the time it takes in general . . . being touched or examined . . . shots or other procedures that might be painful . . . and just general fear and anxiety.

Because of all that, only 34% of us have seen a doctor or had a check-up in the past year. 39% have seen a dentist.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - Last week, relief pitcher Will Smith became the first player in MLB history to win three straight World Series rings, with three different teams.

(and he made some pretty good music in the 80s too...oh..not that Will Smith..never mind.)

He won in 2021 with the Atlanta Braves, in 2022 with the Houston Astros, and, now, with the Texas Rangers. Oh, Smith is a free agent, so what team wants him now?
