A poll found half of us would be annoyed if a friend snagged something off our plate without at least asking first. And fries are the #1 food we DON'T want to share.

The top foods we don't want to share are fries, pizza, ice cream, and chocolate. Around 1 in 10 people say they won't share under any circumstances.

29% would rather buy someone their own helping than share with them . . . 15% said it's caused an argument before . . . and 16% have physically stopped someone from stealing food. Like by moving the plate or smacking their hand.

27% will always let someone snag a bite, but that doesn't mean they're cool with it. A sizeable portion said they just do it to be polite.

The poll also found 53% of people regularly have "food envy," where you wish you ordered what someone else got.

We have our trails..wine, cheese, ice cream, brewery...but If you're a Mayonnaise Fanatic, you know Duke's especially if you're in the South. The brand was created by Eugenia Duke in Greenville, South Carolina more than 100 years ago and it has a big loyal following.

Now, Greenville has an "Unofficial Mayo Guide," which includes 20 stops, showcasing mayonnaise in different ways. There are six "snack spots" . . . 14 meal "must-haves" . . . and four historical stops celebrating Duke's.

The trail is a self-guided tour, so you can hit up the featured places whenever you'd like . . . since, you know, 20 mayonnaise dishes is a lot for one day.

The trail also seems open-ended, like the Bourbon Trail. As long as the places offer these dishes, you'll be able to do it.

"The Simpsons" is dropping one of its longest-running gags: child abuse.

In an episode a few weeks ago called "McMansion & Wife", Homer and Marge meet a new neighbor. When Homer shakes his hand, the guy comments on his strong grip.

Homer says, quote, "See, Marge, strangling the boy paid off." But then he adds, quote, "Just kidding, I don't do that anymore. Times have changed."

"The Simpsons" is in its 35th season.

In a new poll, 13% of people said they weren't happy about their "sibling placement" . . . meaning they did NOT like being the oldest, the middle child, the youngest, the only child, or even . . . the 12th of 15 kids.

39% of people LIKED their situation in the family, and 43% didn't have an opinion.

70% of people said their "sibling placement" DID shape their personality . . . and 43% of people said it had a POSITIVE effect.

The poll also asked about people's ideal placement . . . and maybe the most interesting thing is how BALANCED it was. 11% said they'd want to be the only child . . . 21% said they'd want to be the oldest . . . 19% said they'd want to be a middle child . . . and 18% said they'd want to be the youngest.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - Winston Churchill had a doctor's note to drink "unlimited" alcohol in Prohibition America, after getting hit by a car when trying to cross a street.

It said: "The post-accident convalescence of Winston Churchill necessitates the use of alcoholic spirits, especially at mealtimes. The quantity is naturally indefinite but the minimum requirements would be 250 cubic centimeters." (which is 8.5 ounces.)
