Google Trends has released some data on what people have been Googling so far, and here are a few highlights:
(click the map to see what potatoes are your state's favorite!)
A lot of people want recipes for potato dishes, but some things are more popular in certain states, compared to others.
Many states like: Au gratin potatoes . . . cheesy potatoes . . . mashed or SMASHED potatoes . . . various potato soups . . . and baked potatoes.
And then there's the SPECIAL states: California is looking for potato tacos . . . Maine is Googling potato donuts . . . Georgia is cooking the Irish dish colcannon, which is usually potatoes and cabbage . . . and Tennessee is planning on whipping up some POTATO CANDY.
The top questions people are asking Google include:
"How many pounds of potatoes, per person, for Thanksgiving?"
"When to thaw turkey for Thanksgiving?"
"How many turkeys are killed for Thanksgiving?"
And "Why do we eat turkey on Thanksgiving?"
And yet another popular search query is: "What time does 'Black Friday' start?" um..duh..i think that most are not being specific enough like when does the store open or the sale start...but...I don't know, people can be dumb.)
Overall, Texas has been the state with the MOST Thanksgiving-related searches so far. Which makes sense. Everything is bigger in Texas, and now that includes search histories!
Of all dishes, people are searching for green bean casserole the most, which suggests that's the one we NEVER make unless it's Thanksgiving.

Even if you've spent weeks studying and feel prepared to show off what you know, test day can trigger your nerves. The average person does not respond well to having their fate tied to a grueling 45 minutes of regimented stress. Luckily, many such people have come up with a workaround to make test stress a bit more manageable: Just take them backward.
It’s just something that regular students recommend to one another—not only peer-to-peer, but on forums like TikTok and Reddit.
Typically, tests are a few pages long and include sections of multiple-choice questions, true or false questions, or short-answer questions. There may be a few short essays in there, usually tacked on at the end. The theory goes that by starting on the most time-consuming and difficult part of the exam, you can “eat the frog” and get it over with, as it will be easier to speed through the less taxing sections if you find you are short on time.
No matter how you go about it, make sure to review everything briefly before you turn your test in to make sure you haven't inadvertently failed to answer a question or two.

Millennials are constantly being blamed for ENDING and RUINING everything. Even American Cheese.
But now people on Reddit are talking about things that they're actually GLAD that Millennials torched . . . and there are some good responses.
For starters, there were some SERIOUS things mentioned. Those include:
1. The idea that "work is the most important thing" . . . or the "loyalty to the workplace." Millennials pushed the notion that you SHOULDN'T go above and beyond. You should "act your wage," and "be paid what you're worth."
2. The "I hate my wife / husband" genre of jokes.
3. Being an absent father . . . "Millennial dads have made 'dadding' cool."
4. The stigmas of mental health, depression, and anxiety.
5. Homophobia, and the shunning of the LGBT+ community.
--
And now, onto the more FUN responses:
1. Millennials killed ironing clothes.
2. Crappy chain restaurants.
3. Junk food. One person said: "Healthy food: Hippie Boomers started it . . . Gen X commercialized it . . . Millennials boosted it to the mainstream."
4. Cigarettes.
5. Country clubs.
6. One person said, "Treating veterinarians like garbage."
7. The lawncare obsession.
8. Owning a lot of knick-knacks, even expensive stuff like fine china.
9. Cable TV.
10. Bar soap.
