Why did Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello break up?
Two days after the "Señorita" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer" singers announced their split, new info has emerged about their breakup conversation — and what went wrong in general.
Mendes, 23, "initiated the conversation" with the Cinderella star, 24, last week about ending their two-year romance, a Cabello source told E! News.
She was "very upset over the split," the insider added, but "agreed" it was for the best. She had a difficult "few days," but has been leaning on friends and otherwise keeping busy.
"She has a huge support system and is feeling renewed now," the source said.
As for the reasoning, "The relationship was getting stale and complacent and they decided they are better off being friends," the insider said.

TMZ reports - Britney Spears says she's ready to tell her story to the world -- potentially even through Oprah -- but there's still a lot to be hammered out before, or even if, that happens.
Britney had fans buzzing this week when she posted a video and teased, "I might as well do a hint of my thoughts on the gram before I go and set things square on @Oprah."
Sources close to Spears tell us at this time, there's nothing set with Oprah. In fact, we're told there aren't any interviews lined up for Britney at all right now ... whether TV, print or podcast/radio.
Our sources say Britney's still just enjoying adjusting to life without the conservatorship, and while she is open to sitting down and telling her story at some point ... it won't be in the near future.

Someone asked people to define what it means to do a "good deed," and the top answer was anything that makes someone else feel good. But doing good deeds can also make you feel good
92% of people said they feel happy when they do something nice for someone else, and 77% also said it makes them feel more relaxed. Here are the top little things you can do for others that can instantly turn your day around,
1. Helping a friend, family member, or coworker with a task.
2. Donating to someone in need.
3. Just saying "good morning" to people.
4. Holding a door for someone, especially a stranger.
5. Giving someone a compliment.
6. Paying for someone's meal.
7. Buying someone a coffee.
8. Helping someone carry groceries, or something else that's heavy.
The poll also found three in four people believe that if they do something nice for someone, that person will usually pay it forward in one way or another.
