If you want to get through Thanksgiving and do the bare minimum, here's your shopping list.
Kroger supermarkets asked people to name the top five MUST-HAVE Thanksgiving foods. So, if you could only have five things on the table, what would they be?
Here are the five Thanksgiving staples that got the most votes . . .
1. Turkey. 83% put it on their list.
2. Stuffing, 55%.
3. Mashed potatoes, 49%.
4. Gravy, 30%.
5. Pumpkin pie, 30%.
Mashed potatoes are technically a "vegetable." But nothing green made the list.

Happy World Toilet Day (Yesterday) The United Nations made it a holiday more than a decade ago to raise awareness about sanitation needs around the world.
Their motto this year is "Toilets: A Place for Peace." And a poll found it really is a spot we go to when we need some peace and quiet.
38% of us sometimes go to the bathroom when we're out in public, just to get some alone time or take a break.
Here are the top five things we go to the bathroom for when we don't really need to go . . .
1. To wash our hands.
2. To touch up make-up, or check our appearance in the mirror.
3. To get away from an awkward or uncomfortable situation.
4. To get some alone time.
5. To chat privately with friends. Women tend to do that more than men.
13% of people said they've also used a public bathroom to do DRUGS. And 16% have GOTTEN-IT-ON in a public restroom.
Last stat: Have you ever bought something at a store just so they'd let you use the bathroom? 44% of us have done it.

New research suggests a cup of cocoa could protect you from the negative effects of fatty comfort foods during times of stress.
It's all about the Flavanols, compounds found in some foods and drinks, like apples and tea, and are considered to have a range of different benefits, including being good for regulating blood pressure and protecting cardiovascular health.
Green tea and berries can help too...but not as tasty!

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - Planters Peanuts was founded in 1906, but the "Mr. Peanut" mascot didn't come along until 1916, when a 14-year-old schoolboy named Antonio Gentile submitted a drawing to a trademark contest.
He received a $5 prize for his winning sketch, which doesn't sound like much . . . but it's about $150 in today's money. And the founder of Planters (Amedeo Obici) also paid for Antonio and four of his siblings to go to college.
