Someday soon you will be able to eat chicken without harming a single bird.
The FDA on Wednesday signed off on the safety of Upside Foods' lab-grown chicken meat, the first time any "cultivated meat" has been approved. The product will be allowed in stores once the agency inspects the company's plant and samples of the meat, but the company will first roll it out in restaurant tastings.

There are no people aboard the test flight of the Artemis rocket that launched into space Wednesday — but there is a familiar black-and-white beagle.
A plush Snoopy, outfitted in his own NASA astronaut suit, served as the mission's "zero-gravity indicator" and began floating when the spacecraft reached weightlessness. Charlie Brown's dog has been promoting NASA missions for more than 50 years and went on his first trip to space aboard the Columbia in 1990.
