Bobi, the world's oldest known dog, has died...at 31 years and 165 days. Guinness World Records reported Bobi, who lived with his human family in the rural village of Conqueiros Portugal, died over the weekend.

The purebred Rafeiro do Alentejo, a farm and watch-dog breed known for its confidence and calm demeanor lived at the home his entire life.

Not only was Bobi the world's oldest living dog, but he's the oldest ever to have lived, Guinness reported.

These dogs usually live 12 to 14 years.

Matt Spina from thetakeout.com website has taken it upon himself to rate just about everything you could possibly put on a burger.

One note, he has personally tasted a burger topping for it to qualify, as for everything else he states "It's my list and I'll do what I want with it."

It's a 70-topping list and the top five are, Cheddar Cheese, Pickles, Another Burger Patty, Raw Onion, and Green Chile.

See his full rankings and reasons here.

46% of all pumpkin-related KNIFE injuries will happen this week.

A study found there are about 2,000 a year in the U.S., and that's just people who end up in the E.R. 84% of them happen in October. November is next at 11%.

Experts say even adults should really be using those orange pumpkin-carving knives. They're a lot safer than a real knife. For kids under 10, think about painting pumpkins instead. Or YOU may want to do the carving for them.

The last three days leading up to Halloween will see the most injuries. There's always a spike on weekends and the night before Halloween. So that's this coming Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Your thumb and index finger are the digits you're most likely to cut. Around 60% of pumpkin-carving injuries involve those two digits.

A new poll found the first week of October is the most popular time to put your Halloween stuff out. 37% of people who decorate said that's when they do it, and another 15% said BEFORE October 1st. So over half of us get them up early.

But the second most popular time is right now. 19% . . . or around one in five . . . said they usually wait until the last week of October.

The study used Google data to find the most popular decorations. The Top 10 in 2023 are: pumpkins or jack-o-lanterns . . . corn stalks . . . skeletons . . . black cats . . . witches . . . tombstones . . . spider webs . . . crows . . . bats . . . and ghosts.

79% of people in the poll said they'll be decorating in one way or another this year. 55% plan to carve a pumpkin, or already have.

Most popular in NY & PA are Corn Stalks.

Why is Freddy Krueger's sweater in A Nightmare on Elm Street red and green? It's not random, it's SCIENCE!!!!

Director Wes Craven chose that color combination because of SCIENCE.

He read in a scientific article that the combo is the most difficult for the human eye to see, so he figured it would make even Freddy's clothes uncomfortable to watch.

Not to get TOO science-y on you, but the combinations of red with green and yellow with blue are considered "forbidden colors." Basically, they cancel each other out in the eye, making them impossible to see at the same time.

Today’s Useless Face of the Day - A few years back, a study considered 30 different fragrances to determine which scents had the biggest effect on arousal in men.

They found the most stimulating combination was "lavender and pumpkin pie." Second was the combination of black licorice and doughnut. The least arousing smell was cranberry.
