Taco Tuesday was yesterday, (why not Taco Wednesday?)
According to a survey, 90% of U.S. adults like to eat tacos . . . and around 83% say they eat Mexican food at least once a month. 17% say they eat it weekly.
Mexican food is America's second-favorite cuisine behind Italian.
The most popular taco filling, by far, is beef. Chicken is second, followed by steak, shrimp, fish, pork, and beans. 6% said "none of these."
As for toppings, 75% of people want their taco to have cheese. Lettuce is next, followed by sour cream . . . salsa . . . tomatoes . . . guacamole . . . vegetables . . . and beans.

A poll asked people what they do when they discover that a sock has lost its match, and 38% keep it for a short period of time, hoping that the other one will show up on the next laundry day, or the one after.
29% of people say they keep the remaining sock indefinitely, in hopes of finding the other one someday even if it takes months or years.
19% of people immediately throw it away, and 9% claim they never lose socks.
Interestingly enough, old folks are the demographic least likely to have any patience, and are more likely to toss the sock.
Another question asked how you store your socks and 84% of people said they have them connected as pairs. But 9% leave them as singles in a drawer.
George Carlin had a great joke about what if when you die, you get back all the things you've lost during your life. Great..a mound of socks.

When you see a small amount of mold on your loaf of bread, can you just throw away that piece and eat the rest?
Unfortunately, there's more than meets the eye with mold. Here's what a food safety expert had to say: "Bread mold is tricky. If you can see some mold spots, many more mold spores are present and not visible to the naked eye."
She went on to say, "Cutting mold off slices and cooking with them" isn't even advisable. "Cooking kills mold, but the [toxins] it can produce are still present."
And since those toxins can produce a wide variety of adverse reactions, her advice is, "If you see any signs of mold, throw out the bread."
There are some cheeses that you can eat if you just cut off the moldy part. But when it comes to moldy bread, don't risk it.
