A new poll asked 2,000 Americans to name the top "simple joys" in life. Hopefully, you ticked #1 off your list over the weekend.1. Waking up after a good night's sleep.
Catching up with an old friend or loved one.
A cup of coffee.
Just the smell of freshly brewed coffee.
Watching your favorite show.
The smell of freshly baked cookies.
Having someone tell you they were thinking about you.
Waking up to the sun shining.
The sound of rain while you're inside, safe and warm.
Running into a friend
cuddling with your pet
receiving a compliment
and giving a compliment.
Hearing your favorite song on the RADIO.

"Sleepmaxxing" is a general term for when you obsess over getting the "perfect" night's sleep.
It usually involves sleep-tracking apps and at least one over-the-top hack, like "mouth taping." That's where you cover your mouth to force yourself to breathe through your nose all night.
A lot of sleep experts aren't sure the whole sleepmaxxing thing is actually a good trend though. Prioritizing your sleep is great, but OBSESSING over it might not be.
One expert said that from what they've seen, sleepmaxxing tends to backfire. It leads to stress and anxiety and ends up making your sleep worse overall.
There's even a term now called "orthosomnia" for when you become too focused on sleep-tracker data. Studies have found that data isn't always as accurate or reliable as people think.
--"Sleepy girl mocktails" also got big this year. Fans of them claim you'll get the best sleep of your life if you mix cherry juice and seltzer water, then add in some magnesium powder.

Today’s Useless Fact of the Day - The domino in the Domino's Pizza logo has three dots representing the company's THREE locations in 1969. They planned to add a dot for every new store . . . but they expanded way too fast to keep up. Now they have more than 20,000 locations worldwide.
