Legendary singer David Crosby has died at 81.

Crosby was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the Byrds in 1991 and again with Crosby, Stills & Nash in 1997, alongside Stephen Stills and Graham Nash.

AllAboutCats.com put together a list of the Top 10 Richest Pets in the World. At #3 is Taylor Swift's Scottish Fold cat, Olivia Benson. She has a net worth of $97 million.

Olivia earned her worth by appearing alongside Taylor in various commercials like DirectTV, Diet Coke, and AT&T, and her music videos, including "Me!" and "Blank Space".

At #1 is Gunther the Sixth at $500 million. He's a German shepherd owned by the Gunther Corporation. His grandfather inherited an $80 million fortune which has since grown from real estate investments.

At #2 is Nala Cat at $100 million. She's Instagram famous with 4.4 million followers and owns a premium cat food brand called Love, Nala.

Oprah Winfrey's four dogs made the list at #4. They each have their own trust fund and are set to collectively inherit $30 million when Oprah passes.

What do you think it'll be like a century from now, in the year 2123? Well, let's roll it back to 1923 and see what experts predicted for this year.

Someone went through old newspaper articles, and some have come true. For example, constant airline traffic

America's population topping 300 million people

Being able to talk to someone in real-time through your wristwatch.

But the ones that HAVEN'T happened are a little more fun.

1. People will work a max of four hours a day. The headline for that one was, "No More Hard Work by 2023!" They said electricity would make it possible. (In 1923, less than half of U.S. homes had power.)

2. No ugly people. They thought beauty pageants would become obsolete because it would be almost impossible to choose a winner.

3. Women will paint their teeth black to be fashionable. Instead, a lot of people whiten their teeth now.

4. Gasoline will be replaced by radio waves. So, powering your car by blasting radio waves somehow.

5. The average life expectancy will be 100 years old . . . and another expert said 300. The average in the U.S. back then was just 57 years old, and now it's around 76. The oldest living person is set to turn 119 next month.

6. Flying from Chicago to Germany will only take 18 hours. They were too conservative with that one. It's really half that now, around a nine-hour flight.

7. Cancer will be eradicated. Not yet, but we're making pretty good progress.

8. Homes won't have kitchens anymore. That one basically said we'd have ways to make food using, quote, "chemical formulas" and wouldn't need to cook. We do have Uber Eats and DoorDash though.

9. Telepathy will exist. That one said we'd even be able to speak telepathically with babies.

10. Kidney koozies. Like beer koozies, but to keep your internal organs warm.

The TSA found 6,542 guns in carry-on luggage in 2022, the most ever in a single year. Of those guns, 88% were loaded.

For the record: It is very illegal to bring guns and ammo in your carry-on ... so don't do that!

If you run a humidifier in the winter or use a neti pot to clear up a stuffy nose, do not use tap water.

Bacteria and other organisms living in unsterile water can travel from the nerves in the nose into the brain and cause a deadly infection according to University of Ohio immunologist Kara Wada. Always use distilled water..it also helps when cleaning because you won't get the sediments to clean off.

Have you watched HBO Max's The White Lotus and felt like you needed to live that lavish life as well?

There is a chance you can after the villa from the series was listed on AirBnb, but it's definitely going to set you back. Villa Tasca, which is actually in Palmero — and not in Noto — Italy, is currently listed at about $5,990 dollars per night. There is also a three-night minimum stay. It boasts 20 acres, Victorian-style architecture, and is even fully staffed on top of all the amenities you could ever want.

You shouldn't run into Jennifer Coolidge though..but if the piano player falls ill...watch out!

New ice core data shows that Greenland is now 2.7 degrees Fahrenheit hotter than its 20th century average temperature, after a sharp spike in Greenland temperatures since 1995, according to a study published Wednesday in the journal Nature. Greenland is now the warmest it has been in more than 1,000 years. The giant northern island previously showed few clear impacts of global warming on its remotest north-central region, but that was partly because the ice cores hadn't been updated since 1995, according to The Associated Press. "We keep on (seeing) rising temperatures between 1990s and 2011," said study lead author Maria Hoerhold, a glaciologist at the Alfred Wegener Institute in Germany. "We have now a clear signature of global warming."

Some 22-year-old guy has been trying to track down his "dream girl" he met at a bar . . . after she only gave him PART of her phone number.

She wrote it on a napkin, along with her name, "Jackie." But she left out two digits on purpose. And at the bottom, she wrote, "Trust me, I'm worth it." (Here's the photo. The 512 area code is for Austin, Texas.)

Basically, she wanted to see if he'd go through the hassle of figuring out what those two missing numbers were. There were 100 possible combinations.

His cousin tweeted about it on Tuesday, and most people seem to think it's a fun idea. Some say it's a sign she's demanding and high-maintenance, but it didn't actually come out of nowhere.

At the bar, they bonded over true crime shows, and he bragged he can always solve the crime before the show ends. So the missing digits were a challenge.

Now there's an update: His cousin posted again yesterday after Jackie saw his post go viral and DM'd him. The cousin told her there were still around 50 numbers to try. Her response was, quote, "He may not be as clever as he thinks. Give me HIS number . . . I'm taking over this operation."

Today’s Useless Fact of the Day - Ikea is an acronym. The "IK" is for the founder's initials, Ingvar Kamprad. The "E" is for Elmtaryd, which is the farm he grew up on in Sweden. And the "A" is for Agunnaryd, which was his home village.
