Do you, or do you know anyone with problematic names or initials?

A lot of companies have a general email structure for new employees . . . combining your first initial with your last name, if it's available.

A woman is going viral on TikTok, for explaining how it's always awkward when she gets a new job . . . because her name is Samantha Hart . . . and HR always has to tell her that her name "doesn't exactly fit" the usual email structure.

I'll let you figure it out.

Samantha says she's had two jobs before, and this has been an issue at BOTH gigs because they typically used the first initial / last name set-up.

And now, she is transitioning to a new job, and she's dreading having the conversation again.  So, she's thinking about just bringing it up right away during her onboarding, so that there's no awkward conversation about it later.

A Chuck E. Cheese game show is in the works where duos of "big kids" ..yea adults can compete in supersized arcade games.

These games will include pinball, air hockey, alley roller, and the human claw.  The pair who earns the most tickets will get to exchange them for prizes off a massive version of the Chuck E. Cheese prize wall.

(I'll take the sofa, the urn, and put the rest on a gift certificate.)

It's being done by the same guys behind shows like "Top Chef" and "Nailed It!" and there are no other details.

Have you ever walked into a door you thought was a "push," but it was actually a "pull"?  You feel like an idiot, right?

An actual scientific poll asked 6,000 Americans what they'd do if a door didn't say whether to push or pull it, what would you try first?

About a third didn't know, but the rest of the responses led push had 51%.

Men are slightly more likely to try pushing it first. 52% said they'd push, and 51% of women said pull.

We've always been told for good sleep habits to keep a regular schedule, even on weekends, and you can't make up a sleep deficit by getting more on the weekends.....but.....

A recent study found sleeping in on weekends might save your life. Researchers looked at the health records and sleep patterns of 3,400 Americans over two years.

And people who slept an hour longer on weekends had lower rates of heart disease.

Do you have a drawer full of instruction manuals from all the things you have bought throughout the years?? The big question is, do you ever go through it and throw away the ones you don't have anymore? And with the internet..do you need to keep them at all?

Pauly Shore will star in a biopic about Richard Simmons.

sounds like he's trying to do it justice by reaching out to Richard, but it was phone tag.

Richard released a statement yesterday saying, quote, "You may have heard they may be doing a movie about me with Pauly Shore.  I have never given my permission for this movie.  So don’t believe everything you read.

"I no longer have a manager, and I no longer have a publicist.  I just try to live a quiet life and be peaceful.  Thank you for all your love and support."

"You'll be the death of me" is a popular mantra for parents.  But a new study found having kids might actually make you live LONGER.

Researchers at the University of Michigan looked at the health records of 276,000 people and found some parents are 5 to 10% more likely to live to 76 than people without kids.  That's about three years longer than the global average.

But there's a sweet spot:  It's only true for people who have TWO children.

If you have more kids than that, you're less likely to make it to 76 than someone who doesn't have kids.  The same applies if you only have one child.

They really aren't sure why two is the magic number.

Doritos-flavored LIQUOR is now a thing that exists.

A spirit company in Denmark called Empirical is behind it.  They partnered with PepsiCo, so it's an "official" Doritos liquor.

It's supposed to taste exactly like their Nacho Cheese version and it also smells like them. (so...it's a cheese flavored vodka) A writer for "Food & Wine" said it has a "bouquet" that's, quote, "brimming with the unmistakable tang of cheese dust."  They thought the aftertaste was a little more like Fritos than Doritos though.

Jennifer Lopez drops her new album "This Is Me . . . Now" on February 16th.  But on that same day, she's releasing a 65-minute MOVIE of the same name to Prime Video that goes along with it.

It seems to be at least kind of autobiographical, with J-Lo searching for love or whatever.  But it combines elements of romantic comedy, classic Hollywood musicals, and even some sci-fi and steampunk.

It's described as, quote, "a narrative-driven cinematic odyssey, steeped in mythological storytelling and personal healing."

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - In 1943, the government declared a Wartime Ban on the Sale of Pre-Sliced Bread to conserve resources during World War 2. They were worried about the amount of additional wax paper used to wrap individual slices. (wait..they wrapped each slice?)

So, from then on, only whole loaves were sold until the end of World War 2.

(but wait..wasn't that the greatest invention ever??)
