Pollen season is here!!! What can you do to help alleviate the symptoms?? the Mayo Clinic says.

Stay indoors on dry, windy days. The best time to go outside is after a good rain, which helps clear pollen from the air.

Avoid lawn mowing, weed pulling and other gardening chores that stir up allergens.

Remove clothes you've worn outside and shower to rinse pollen from your skin and hair.

Don't hang laundry outside — pollen can stick to sheets and towels.

Wear a face mask if you do outside chores.

Also try to keep the air around you free of pollen

Use air conditioning in your house and car.

If you have forced air heating or air conditioning in your house, use high-efficiency filters and follow regular maintenance schedules.

Keep indoor air dry with a dehumidifier.

Use a portable high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter in your bedroom.

Clean floors often with a vacuum cleaner that has a HEPA filter.

We always hear of Florida Man stories..now it's Stupid Emergency Authorities.

Yesterday, the authorities in Florida decided to test a mobile emergency alert system, by sending everyone a loud alarm on their smartphones . . . at 4:45 A.M.

Millions of people were rudely awakened to a message on their phone saying, "TEST. This is a TEST of the Emergency Alert System. NO action is required."

Later, the government apologized, and admitted they botched it. It wasn't meant to be sent out to phones that early. It was supposed to play on TV.

A Republican politician says he's planning to file a bill called the "Stop Wake Act," to ban the tests from happening between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

Fun distraction which also teaches you some things...ride an elevator into space (no need to win the golden ticket to get into the chocolate factory.)

interesting to note..(I'm really up there...space elevators are actually being considered by scientists, they could potentially offer a cheaper and safer way of getting to space.

The world's fastest elevator travels at 46 mph. A space elevator with the same speed would take 80 minutes to reach space.

Post Malone made history by becoming the first artist to have EIGHT songs certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Bruno Mars previously held the record with six singles. A single or album goes Diamond when it hits 10 million copies.

Yesterday, Posty's songs "Circles", "Better Now", and "I Fall Apart" achieved Diamond status.

They join "White Iverson", "Congratulations" featuring Quavo, "Rockstar" featuring 21 Savage, "Psycho" featuring Ty Dolla Sign . . . and "Sunflower" with Swae Lee, which holds the record for the biggest song at 17 times Platinum.

He released a greatest hits album today called "The Diamond Collection", which includes all eight tracks, plus his latest single, "Chemical".
