A company in Australia called Costa Berries just unveiled the largest blueberry ever grown . . . about the size of a ping pong ball.

A normal blueberry only weighs a gram or two.  This one's 10 to 20 times heavier than that at 20.4 grams, or just under an ounce.

They picked it in November, and it sat in a deep freezer for three months while they waited on Guinness to verify it.  The old record was 16.2 grams, so this one's 26% heavier.

They've been working on breeding them to be bigger because they say there's a lot of consumer demand for larger blueberries.

Seems someone has been watching old cartoons. Remember Captain Planet and the Planeteers from the 90s? They all could control certain elements. . . earth, fire, wind, or water . . . which would you choose?

A recent poll asked this question

25% of people said "water"

21% said "earth"

17% said wind or "air"

14% said "fire."

Men were more likely to say they wish they could control WIND, while women were more likely to say they're "not sure" how to answer.

There are people who can sleep . . . on their own terms . . . no matter what else is happening around them.  And if there's a secret, those people are not sharing it with the rest of us.

In a new poll, a whopping 82% of people in relationships say their partner's sleeping habits "consistently" keep THEM up at night.  Snoring is the biggest issue.  52% of people say their partner's snoring keeps them up.

33% say they're bothered by their partner messing around on their phone before bed . . . and another 33% say they're disturbed by their partner getting out of bed at night, to go to the bathroom or something.

Other issues include:  Hogging the covers . . . tossing and turning . . . or "starfishing" across the bed.

Still most couples do sleep together.  79% of people in relationships share a bed with their partner . . . 10% sleep in different rooms . . . 6% say it "depends on the night" . . . and 5% "sleep separately in the same room."

Today’s Useless Fact of the Day - The state bird of Utah is the California Gull. Probably in commemoration of the fact that these gulls saved the people of the State by eating up hordes of crickets which were destroying the crops in 1848.

When they were done the gulls returned "to the lake islands whence they came."
