30 Years Ago - 1992 Soul Asylum released their sixth album Grave Dancers Union.
The album went triple-platinum. The first single "Somebody to Shove" made #1 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart and #9 on Mainstream Rock Tracks. The video (along with the next single) was directed by Zack Snyder.
"Runaway Train" won a Grammy for best rock song and was their breakout song. It was a smash making #5 Hot 100 #15 AC #13 Modern Rock #3 Mainstream Rock #2 Mainstream Top 40.
