1988 - Roll With It - Steve Winwood

35 Years Ago - 1988 Steve Winwood released his fifth album Roll With It.

It turned out to be his most commercially successful album.

The first single was the title track topping the Hot 100, AC and Mainstream Rock charts.

"Don't You Know What the Night Can Do?" was another #1 Mainstream Rock topper. (#6 Hot 100 #2 AC.) and was featured in an ad for Michelob.

"Holding On" was next peaking at #11 #1 AC #2 Mainstream Rock.

"Hearts on Fire" peaked at #53 and #22 AC and Mainstream Rock.

Interesting note, "Roll With It" was the last #1 hit of Casey Kasem's 18-year run as the original host of American Top 40.
