1988 - All or Nothing - Milli Vanilli

35 Years Ago - 1988 Milli Vanilli released their debut album All or Nothing.

It would be repackaged in 1989 and released in America retitled Girl You Know It's True with remixed or different tracks.

The Act was the brainchild of Boney M founder Frank Farian. This wasn't the first time he created a band with different lip-syncers as front people.

He was also behind such groups as La Bouche, Le Click, and No Mercy.

Four singles were released

"Girl You Know It's True" peaked at #2 on the Hot 100 and Rap Songs charts, #3 Club and R&B charts.

"Baby Don't Forget My Number" went #1, #10 club, #9 R&B/Hip Hop.

"Girl I'm Gonna Miss You" (one of the most God Awful songs ever..imho) seared into our brains at #1, #21 AC, #20 R&B/Hip Hop.

"All or Nothing" made #4, #54 R&B/Hip Hop.

"Blame It On The Rain" was not on this release, but was added to the American version.
