35 Years Ago - 1987 Michael Bolton released his fifth album The Hunger.
The album contained the singles "That's What Love is All About" (#19 #3 AC), A cover of Otis Redding's "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay" (#11 #12 Mainstream Rock #19 AC #58 R&B), "Wait On Love" (#79), and "Walk Away" (#14 AC.)
Zelma Redding, the widow of Otis Redding, said Bolton's performance of "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay" moved her so much "that it brought tears to my eyes. It reminded me so much of my husband that I know if he heard it, he would feel the same.
