Singles included "Typical Male" (#2 #11 Dance Club #3 R&B/Hip Hop), "Back Where You Started" (promotional single and won Turner a Grammy Award for Best Rock Vocal Performance, Female), "Two People" (#30 #12 AC #18 R&B/HH), "What You Get Is What You See" (#13), "Break Every Rule" (#74), and "Afterglow" (#5 Dance Club.)
Writing partners on this album included David Bowie, Bryan Adams and Mark Knopfler.
