1984 - Weird "Al" in 3-D - Weird "Al" Yankovic

40 Years Ago -1984 Weird "Al" Yankovic released his second album ..in 3-D


 "Eat It", a parody of Michael Jackson's "Beat It", peaked at #12 and won a Granny for Best Comedy Performance Single or Album, Spoken or Musical.

The video is styled as a shot-for-shot remake of Jackson's video for "Beat It" and also features a few of the same dancers from Jackson's video.

Doctor Demento's cameo is a photo on the wall.

"King of Suede", a parody of "King of Pain" by The Police made #62.

"I Lost on Jeopardy", Greg Kihn's "Jeopardy" peaked at #81. Doctor Demento is in the booth.  Don Pardo and original host of Jeopardy Art Flemming also appeared.So does Greg Kihn himself driving the car at the end.

The album also parodied Men Without Hats, and Survivor, and had pastiches of Bob Marley and the B-52s.
