40 Years Ago - 1983 Tracy Ullman released her debut album You Broke My Heart in 17 Places.
It was an album of cover songs with Kirsty MacColl's "They Don't Know" as the bit hit single (#8.) The video even had a cameo appearance by Paul McCartney, whom Ullman had been filming his Give My Regards to Broad Street.
Note that MacColl reprised her original "bay-ay-be-ee” to intro the third verse as Ullman had a limited high-end range.
In America, "Breakaway" was released next and peaked at #70. It had been the first single in the UK and peaked at #4.
