1983 - The Look - Shalamar

40 Years Ago - 1983 Shalamar released their seventh album The Look.

This is the last Shalamar album to feature the classic line-up of Jeffrey Daniel, Howard Hewett, and Jody Watley.

Three singles were released in the US.

"Dead Giveaway" peaked at #22 and #10 R&B.

"Over and Over" was a #26 R&B hit.

"You Can Count On Me" bubbled under the Hot 100 at #101 and peaked at #77 on the R&B chart.
