Pat Benatar released her third album Precious Time. "Fire and Ice" (#17 #2 Mainstream Rock) was the first single and won the Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance, followed by "Promises in the Dark" (#36 #16 Mainstream Rock.) "Just Like Me" and "Take It Anyway You Want It" were Mainstream Rock charters.
