New Year, New Anniversary Years. 1974, 79, 84, 89, 94, 99 etc.
My stats these years:
1974 I was in Homer NY until June and then moved to Sodus NY. I was the 5th & 6th grade. I would turn 11 in November. WKRT was a station in Cortland that I listened to. Then it was WKFM out of Syracuse and WHAM out of Rochester. I”m not really sure if I was listening to WHFM yet or WMJQ from Rochester.
1979 I was in Sodus NY, listening to Rochester and Syracuse radio. I was in 10th and 11th grade.
1984 Mount Union College in Alliance Ohio living at 131 Hartshorne Ave, Junior and Senior years. Probably played most at WRMU.
No lie..1984 is my most favorite year in music!
45 Years Ago- 1979 The Babys released their third album Head First.
John Waite provided the vocals on the first single "Every Time I Think of You" which peaked at #13.
The title track was next and peaked at #77.
