50 Years Ago - 1973 Paul McCartney (and Wings) released his/their fourth/second album Red Rose Speedway. (did I lose you?)
The record company decided to just have Paul's name on it feeling the public's unfamiliarity with the band had been responsible for the weak commercial performance of the group's 1971 debut album.
One single was released "My Love", a love song to his wife Linda. It went to #1 on both the Hot 100 and AC chart.
